Apple have consistently proven that
their products are of quality, technically outweighing their opponents even if
others don''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t know it. It is true that Apple laptops are renowned by many
designers and casual users, however I approached this review subjectively as I
would any other laptop sent to me to review. Upon opening the box, there is a
sense of excitement unlike other products – quality is expected. This review is
exclusive to buyusedlaptops.net and their mission to find affordable laptops
for consumers out there.
Used Apple laptops have that
signature design to them – white, glossy and ergonomic. They achieve the
aesthetics that other companies fail to achieve. Nevertheless, a laptop cannot
be judged by its external appeal and rightfully so. A closer look into the
internal mechanisms reveals a 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 1GB of RAM. This is
significantly faster than the previous model and much more affordable as well.
The previous MacBook offered 512MB of RAM whereas the new model contains 1GB of
RAM. The .16GHz addition may initially seem disappointing, but believe me you
will feel the difference.
Storage wise, the MacBook has raised
the bar with a HD capacity of 120GB. This is very impressive for its size and
adds an additional 40GB from previous models. You will also find an integrated
VGA webcam, GMA 950 graphics card and a SuperDrive DVD rewriter (Dual Layered).
Ethernet of course come standard and 802.11a, b, g and n varieties in Wi-Fi
come packages with the system. 3G connectivity is not integrated unfortunately
and therefore must be purchased separately.
The MacBook is shipped with the Mac
OS X v10.4 Tiger operating system which includes all the basics if you are
familiar with the operating system. The design here is marvelous. The MacBook
is aesthetically beautiful and crushes the competition. There are 2 version,
white and black. However we personally prefer the white glossy finish here at

So is this laptop worth the price
tag? Quite frankly YES. The overall price has dropped since the previous and
for what you’re getting its almost a bargain. Apple’s are known for their
performance and the MacBook does not stray from this path. Overall it’s a
excellent purchase and one that I would recommend at Apple Used Laptops.
